What are the statistics?

The scoreboard presents your typing and contribution statistics while using eType. You can view how many words you have typed using the software in total, and a summary of the last week and today. You can admire your eType contributions, by viewing how many words and translations you’ve suggested to our dictionaries. If approved, these words will be added to eType next dictionary version. You can use this window also to view latest news and tips that maximize your experience using eType.

What are the badges?

Badges are tokens for your eType’s participation and contributions.
etype badge You will start with the “First timer” badge, which is the badge you receive the first time eType’s suggestions window opens.
While using eType you’ll be able to earn many varied badges.
You can view a complete list of our active badges and details in the Badges list.

How do I earn badges?

Badges are earned when achieving different tasks and goals. Each badge is earned differently.
To learn how to earn each badge, enter the Badges list. The badges list is expending all the time and new badges are added frequently. Tip: You can use the scoreboard statistics to check how far you are from earning your next typing or contribution badge.

How do I know when I’ve earned a new badge?

When earning a new badge, a special congratulation window will appear (see above) announcing the badge you’ve earned and its meaning.

What can I do with these badges?

The badges are a fun way to improve your writing skills while using eType. You can then go tell your friends on Facebook and Twitter, by simply clicking on the share icons. We will soon introduce new activities around this exciting new feature.
